HOW IT WORKS

Since 2015, I’ve been using drones to elevate storytelling and deliver a cinematic enhancement of any landscape. Each mission provides its unique set of challenges before that story can be told. As an FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot, I fly in accordance of FAA laws and regulations to insure safety on the ground and in the air. Prior to any drone flight, I meet with clients for an onsite inspection to asses FAA air space restrictions that may require wavers, identify the optimal use of daylight and perform a risk assessment of potential hazards. This also provides me with the opportunity to identify targeted points of interest to insure the clients vision is captured. I try to work ahead of deadlines but drone missions can be effected by weather. If a mission is cancelled due to weather, I’ll contact you to reschedule.

WHY HIRE AN FAA LICENSED PILOT

Non-Licensed sUAS Pilot

A non-licensed drone (sUAS) pilot has not passed the PART 107 FAA exam and can not legally charge for their services.  This puts anyone who hires an unlicensed pilot at risk of being assessed fines and penalties by the FAA.

Licensed sUAS Pilot

An FAA licensed drone (sUAS) pilot has passed the PART 107 FAA exam. This license allows the pilot to operate a drone for commercial purposes in the U.S.A.  The test that is given covers a wide variety of questions from weather, sectional charts, airspace, temporary flight restrictions and more.  Those who have completed the FAA requirements are allowed to legally charge for their services.
